South Super Star Rajinikanth next flick Rana has lot of surprises in it, Deepika Padukone is acting as a female lead in the movie and a role for which rekha has been considered has been replaced by tabu.

Rana with Rajani doing three roles is being made with a whopping budget of 100 crores by Euros Internatinol Ltd and his Daughter Soumya together. Ks Ravi Kumat is directing the movie and music is by AR Rehman, Cinematography by Rathna vel.

This movie which is planned to be made in Telugu, Hindi, English is expected to start in the first week of may in AVM studio in Chennai.
Movie is planned to be released in 2012.
