A movie based on life history of the yesteryear actress kanchana has been planned by director Raj Mohan in tamil. The movie is titled as "Oru Nadigayis Vakumulam" and produced by Keshavan. Sonia Aggarwal is said to do the female lead in the movie according to the reliable resources from Chennai.

Kanchana who started her professional career as a Air Hostess was later encouraged by director Sridhar in the year 1963 to act in the movie "Kadhalikki Neramilai".

After which she never had to look back and acted in around 150 movies in all the three languages like telugu, tamil and kandada. She has acted with almost all the top heroes of all the three industries at that time. She was a queen of the South Indian cinema in the 80's after which she faced lot of issues by getting involved in some unexpected situations.

Without loosing courage she fought against all the odds and she received 15 crores recently from the court. Kanchana took every one by suprise by giving away the whole amount to TTD. She is spending her peaceful life in Banglore as of now. Very soon we will be seeing the life story of Kanchana on the screen.
