Raviteja did this movie in Telugu which is directed by Rajamouli. It was remade into Tamil as Siruthai with Karthi in the lead. It was a big hit in Kollywood too.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali bought the remake rights of Vikramarkudu and is producing this movie in Hindi as Rowdy Rathod. Prabhu Deva is roped in as the director of this film.
Sonakshi Sinha is paired up with Akshay Kumar in this movie. We have to wait and see if Rowdy Rathod helps Akshay Kumar to win back his lost glory or not.
