2011 is a mixed year for Tollywood till now. Few big films bombed at the box office and few small films have exceeded the expectations. Fresh talent is scoring big in T town at the moment. This year few debutantes announced their arrival in style.
Ala Modalaindi film marked the debut of Nithya Menon and director Nandini Reddy who are currently making waves in Tollywood. Director Veerabhadram Chowdary made his debut with successful flick Aha Naa Pellanta. Although he had copied whole content of the movie from a Korean film titled ‘Marrying the Mafia’ Chowdary made his debut count with it. Actress Reetu Barmecha made her on screen debut with ANP.
Prema Kavali is the other film which made big bucks at the box office. Sai Kumar son Aadi and Isha Chawla made their debut with this film. There are many more debutantes awaiting their big day this year. Let’s wish them success.
