When asked why she didn’t attend Prithvi’s marriage, she said time didn’t allow her. But she attended Jr NTR’s marriage.
Talking about other issues, she said that she is open to act in any film of any language. But when asked if she is ready to act even in Kannada films at lesser pay pack as per industry market standards she said, “I don’t think on those lines. If any Kannada producer wants me for sure, they know what they have to pay for getting me. I believe in that but nothing else. Money comes as last priority while discussing with me. First I look into director, banner and script”.
When asked about smooching scenes and bikini wear, she said, “What’s wrong in that. Any glamour heroine of my age should wear and do that as part of their profession”.
Priya is very happy about her latest film Kshethram, which she says is heroine-oriented. “I play a girl in two different eras with two different looks. The first look is from an era 30 years ago and the other is a contemporary modern look, an altogether different girl. There’s fantastic scope for performance. Jagapathy Babu and Shaam are the two heroes. It is a socio-fantasy film peppered with special effects.”
