MAA TV on Saturday felicitated comedian Bramhanandam at Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad. Superstars Balakrishna and Nagarjuna were the chief guests at the event. Amala Akkineni, S P Balasubramaniam, Dr Ramanaidu, K Raghavendar Rao, Subbaramireddy, actor Srihari, Manchu Vishnu, Akhil Akkineni, Sushanth, Nagasusheela, Srikanth, Vamsi Paidipalli, L B Sriram, R P Patnaik, Uttej, Chittibabu, Raghava, Dhanraj, Venu, Vennela Kishore et al were present while Bramhanandam and his wife were felicitated.
The guests spoke high of Bramhanandam and his contribution to Telugu cinema. Nandamuri Balakrishna said that his relationship with Bramhy is that of 'Muddha Pappu and Gutthi Vankaya Kura'.
"He is a complete actor. He is like a dictionary and can fit into any role easily. He won several awards and even Guinness book of world records. I wish him great career ahead and good health" Nandamuri Balakrishna said at the felicitation ceremony.
Speaking at the occassion, Nagarjuna said,
"I wish I could work with him every day.He is all smiles and lightens up the mood on the sets. I like the food he gets from his home for us. He is a blessed soul.He makes lakhs of people smile. I wish every smile he brings on the audience face comes as a blessing to him and his family" Nagarjuna said.
Vamsi Paidipalli, S P Balasubramaniam, Dr Ramanaidu and Subbarami Reddy who spoke at the occassion praised Bramhanandam and his comedy. Swetha Basu Prasad, Nikitha and Bindu Madhavi performed dances on the stage before the felicitation ceremony.A few junior artistes and comedians played comedy skits before the event started.
