Kanden is written and directed by AC Mugil, a former assistant of Prabhudeva and produced by TCS. Rashmi Gautam plays the female lead with Santhanam as the comedian.
The music of the film by Vijay Ebenzer, a former keyboard player with Harris Jayaraj.
