Vadivelu, who campaigned for the ruling DMK-led Front in the April 13 Assembly polls, indirectly flayed Rajnikanth for dropping him from his forthcoming film Rana.
Addressing media persons after calling on Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi, he said, 'Vadivelu said that he was not bothered about being dropped from Rajni's Rana, the shooting for which commenced this morning.'
'Both of them have starred together in several films, including the box office hit Chandramukhi.'
'Whether it is Rana or Gana...I am not bothered about it', Vadivelu said in a sarcastic tone. when asked on being dropped from the film, which
would be Rajnikanth's first period film.
'The scenes and seasons will change after May 13 (the day when counting of votes polled in the polls will be taken up', he said.
