Tall Heroine's Pregnancy Problems

Tall actress shilpa shetty is frustrated with flow of congratulatory messages from her friends and colleagues. Although she tried to ignore these messages and rumors spread in market about her attaining of pregnancy, finally she decided to react. ‘Sick and tired of all the congratulatory msgs and calls, so for the last time ‘I AM NOT PREGNANT.’ All this is so annoying...grrrrrrrrr. It gets on your nerves especially when I have not made any such announcement,’ says Shilpa Kundra.

Mrs. Rajinikanth Comes Out With Clarity

Mrs. latha, wife of Rajinikanth and Dhanush, son-in-law to Rajinikant met the press today that is 20th May 2011 to give clarifications on rumors spreading over Super Star’s health. This is first time that they came before media after Rajnikanth getting shifted to Intensive Care Unit on Wednesday.

They met journalists at Sri Rama Chandra Hospital and gave details about the treatment protocol being followed to bring actor back to health. ‘He is doing well. The basic problem was an infection that created imbalance which started with in the stomach. Then there is also a respiratory infection.’ On the other side, Dhanush thanked Rajini Fans for conducting prayers and urged them not to panic on rumors being floated on Super Star’s health.

Tamil Nadu CM, Jayalalitha has also enquired about Rajini’s health. She wanted to know the course of treatment followed to Rajini and asked latha on how is he responding? She then prayed for Rajini’s speedy recovery. Well, latha felt that Rajini’s next film ‘Rana’ is not at all on their priority list for now.

Veera 2011 Telugu Movie Review

Behind the Movie Veera: Mass Maharaj Raviteja is coming with in a minimum gap after the hit ‘Mirapakay.’ With beautiful heroines Kajal Agarwal and Tapsee in the lead, this movie is made on highest ever budget in Raviteja’s career. Let us see how far director Ramesh Varma excelled in showing his ‘Veera’?

In the Movie Veera: Movie starts with ACP Shyam Sundar (Shyam) taking on dangerous local goon Dhanraj (Rahul Dev) and his brothers. As a revenge Dhanraj kills Shyam’s cute little son and also targets his daughter. Quickly Police department provides special security to Shyam and his family in the name of officer Deva (Raviteja) who gets very close to all the family members except Shyam’s wife Satya (Sridevi). Deva lives along with Tiger (Brahmanandam) in the out house of ACP.

Aiky (Tapsee) is neighbor to Satya and obviously falls in love for Deva’s heroism. As Deva continuously protects the family of Shyam from clutches of Dhanraj, here comes one more villain Peda Venkata Raidu (Pradeep Rawat) searching for Satya. As story moves on, one fine day Dhanraj gets a chance to kill Shyam but Peda Venkata Naidu spoils the plot by shooting Deva.

Now, Satya reveals a flash back that Deva is none other than her brother whose name if Veera Venkata Satya Narayana aka Veera (Raviteja), son of Surya Pratap Naidu (Nazar), a god like man in the village of Sadashiva Puram. Once again it’s the feud between good and bad in village. Bad here is Peda Venkata Naidu and his supporter Katam Naidu (Supreet) who wants to sell the village lands but Veera lives for village and villagers. In this fight, Peda Venkata Naidu kills the entire family of Veera including his wife Kabaddi Chitti (Kajal Agarwal) and escapes from the village. Now, it is left for Veera to save his sister Satya and brother-in-law Shyam. How far Veera succeeded in this? How did he take revenge on Peda Venkata Naidu? forms the climax.

Values of the Movie Veera: Story of the film is laborious with plenty of characters and piles of drama but nothing new to point out. Story by Ramesh Varma is a dead line beaten millions of times on Telugu screen. Definitely screenplay by Ramesh Varma failed in every aspect. Even as a director he utterly disappointed by remaining unsuccessful in building the emotions and intensity in narration. Cinematography by Chota K Naidu gave a rich look to each frame making Raviteja look handsome in first half. Editing by Goutham Raju was a pack of blunders. Result is that we have got a lengthy film of three hours. Dialogues by Abburi Ravi failed to generate any punch. Hand of Paruchuri Brothers in scripting hasn’t done any great help. Thaman’s music is unappealing and songs are placed very oddly. Production values of Sanvi are top notch but surely a wrong investment.      

Performance wise Raviteja was better in first half as Deva. There were regular comic scenes filled with trademark Raviteja mannerisms. Once flashback starts, audience can clearly judge that Raviteja was a mismatch to the character of Veera. He can never be an Indra like Chiranjeevi or Narasimha Naidu like Balakrishna. He is just Raviteja.  Character of Kajal Agarwal is sketched well as Kabaddi Chitti, it is Tapsee just taken for the sake of songs. Villainy by Pradeep Rawat was routine with ear breaking noise. Sridevi and Shyam carried their characters up to perfection. Comedy wise Brahmi and Ali generated good laughs in first and second half respectively. Among others Divya Vani isn’t great while Roja, Vijay Kumar, Telangana Shakuntala, Sudha, Nazar, Supreet, Naga Babu are okay.

Out of the Movie Veera: Tastes of audience (including masses) have grown up. Mixing the stories of Bhasha, Indra, Samara Simha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu and cooking a pale one like ‘Veera’ with too many imperfections can never be acceptable. When entire second half is pulled with lengthy scenes that never looked appealing, how can Raviteja alone save the film?  More than all these, interval bang was enough for audience to guess as what could be the second half. There were no anxious moments through out. With nothing like an extra ordinary plot and no effective description, ‘Veera’ will be a boring tale for audience who expect something new. For average moviegoer, ‘Veera’ might be appealing only in glitches.

First half was entertaining with few twists leading to a bang interval. Second half is totally flashback with heavy blood shed and action filled climax. Director’s inability to pull the movie towards a logical ending was clearly visible. No way that 'Veera' could have a safe run at BO. Overall, this is quite a weak show from Ramesh Varma and Raviteja.

New Movie Release: "Veera" 2011

This new week belongs to Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s new release ‘veera.’ Coming as next film to super successful ‘Mirapakay,’ there are high expectations built up on the crazy combination of Raviteja, Kajal Agarwal and Tapsee. Director Ramesh Varma will also be eager to know the reactions of audience for his first high budget flick produced on Sanvi Creation. With Raviteja mark entertainment filled first half and powerful action, heroism in second half, ‘veera’ is considered to be the movie of mass audience. Music from Thaman has also secured good response. As ‘veera’ will not have any competitive releases in this week, one has to see how far Raviteja will succeed in continuing his winning streak. Super Star Wishes to Super Star

The friendship between Indian Super Star Amitabh Bachchan and South Super Star rajinikanth is very much known to their Fans. They always admire each other and have been a part of industry from so long time. The moment Amitabh was informed about the ill health of Rajini, he was very much concerned to know about his friend’s updates.

Amitabh Bachchan wished rajinikanth for a speedy recovery through a social networking site. Bachchan informed his Fans saying ‘Rajnikanth is improving gradually,’ The Hindi cinema superstar also revealed that he received an SMS from his Tamil counterpart about his health and added saying ‘we hope and pray that he recovers as soon as possible.’

Super Star Rajini's Wife Says Nothing to Worry

Popular film actor Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajnikanth on Thursday while maintaining that there was no cause for worry, appealed to his fans to give the superstar’s family some privacy and desist from speculating on his health, even as he was shifted to an Intensive Care Unit of a Chennai hospital.

Latha Rajnikanth told a horde of media persons outside the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Chennai that there was no cause of worry due to the superstar’s health and Rajinikanth was fine and responding well to the treatment being given to him. She also added that the popular actor was “shifted from a private room to the ICU because it is a sterile place.” The actor’s wife added that he was being given complete medical attention for his infection. “We are taking good care of him and there is no cause for worry,” she said. “Please treat him like you would treat any other human being. He is a normal human being. Please do not speculate about his health and give our family some privacy,” Latha urged.

Latha’s appeal came after rumours that the 61-year-old actor was put on dialysis started making rounds, sending his legions of fans in frenzy. However, Chairman and Director of the Shri Ramachandra Medical Centre S Thanikachalam denied that there is any truth to these rumours.

He said that, “a gastro-intestinal infection has led to gastric and respiratory problem. He has been put under observation and to monitor his breathing problem. Apart from this, Rajinikanth is cheerful. He is eating normally and had two idlis and a wada today. He is also cracking jokes.” Dr Thanikachalam added that the superstar has also spoken to his family. The hospital director further added that, "A team of expert doctors are looking after. Rajinikanth is a hale and healthy man.”

The superstar was admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on May 13. He was earlier admitted to hospital on April 29, the first day of shoot of his new film 'Rana' and then, on May 4. Earlier, the doctors had removed some fluid from his chest which was creating difficulties in his breathing. Meanwhile, his fans have been organizing special prayers for his health, even as his fellow actors and friends have been wishing him a speedy recovery.

When Did Allu Trap Sukumar??

There is no surprise that Allu Aravind and Geetha Arts identify remotest talents in industry and bring them under their roof. sukumar is one such example who got recognition with debut film ‘Arya.’ Actual inside story is that more than ‘Arya,’ he was confident on the story of ‘100% Love’ which was penned years before Sukku entering into the film circles.

Even they say that sukumar gave the option for ‘Dil’ Raju, either to go for ‘Arya’ or ‘100% Love’ (title was different in those times while story was the same). While ‘Dil’ Raju preferred ‘Arya,’ then young hero Allu Arjun groomed Sukku to join the camp of Geetha Arts where Master Allu Aravind squeezed entire cream out of him including ‘100% Love.’ Then on sukumar is once for all trapped with an obligation of doing ‘100% Love’ only and only for them. One has to wait and see…how many more stories of sukumar are lying hidden in Allu’s den.
